In order to join the BowDog pack, please acknowledge the following terms of service by reading and clicking the "I've Read the Terms of Service" box below.

  1. In contracting BowDog Inc’s services I acknowledge the following terms of service by reading the following and clicking the "I've Read the Terms of Service" box below.
  2. I will provide my pet with the necessary tools to participate in BowDog services, including a properly fit martingale collar and personal identification tag.  I will pick up my pet during regular business hours and am responsible for any charges associated with extended care of my pet until I am able to pick it up during business hours.
  3. If my pet fails to return when called when off-leash or loose, I am responsible for my pet and his actions. BowDog employees will attempt to recall and locate missing pets to the best of their ability while still providing reasonable care to the other animals in their charge.
  4. BowDog is not responsible for damages caused by my pet in my home, BowDog vehicles and any other public or private property my pet may visit while in the care of BowDog (destructive behavior in transport vehicle, kennel, home, etc when staff, owner, or care provider is not present.)
  5. I recognize that there is an inherent risk in seeking active and group pet care.  BowDog is not responsible for any injuries, the contraction of viruses/diseases/parasites or the death of my pet caused by another animal, escape of pet or injury/harm of/to any persons or property.
  6. First aid will be administered and veterinary attention sought should my pet be in need of medical attention. BowDog has permission to seek emergency medical assistance on my pet’s behalf should they be unable to contact me personally. BowDog is not financially responsible for any fees accrued in the process of obtaining medical attention on my pet’s behalf.
  7. Emergency contacts are only contacted in cases of extreme emergency when we cannot contact the owner or when the pet is required to leave our care immediately.  Basic first aid or minor veterinary requirements in your absence do not result in a call to the emergency contact.
  8. BowDog reserves the right to remove the client(s) from our care should their behavior be deemed dangerous or unsuited for our services.  My pet will be removed immediately with utmost care and attention should my dog behave dangerously towards other animals or people.
  9. Should my dog be left unclaimed at BowDog more than 7 days past the original check-out date with no contact or alternative arrangements, my dog will be surrendered to the City of Calgary Animal Services department and the outstanding debt for BowDog services sent for collection.
  10. All services are payable at time of invoice or check out.  Pets will not be released without payment in full.  Payments for walking services that are more than 30 days overdue are subject to 15% interest.  Clients with overdue balances at BowDog will be held responsible for all collection fees associated with services rendered at BowDog.
  11. Vaccinations and pest prevention are the responsibility of the pet owner. BowDog encourages clients to make the best decision for their pet regarding vaccination protocols acknowledging the risks involved in canine socialization.
  12. Animals arriving with fleas/ticks/lice must be removed from facility immediately or cared for and treated in isolation at client expense.
  13. I agree that my pet may be videotaped, photographed and recorded while at BowDog.  BowDog shall be the exclusive owner of the results and all proceeds of such tapings, photography and recordings with rights to copyright, use and license the material in any manner.  I agree that my pet(s) may be used in any and all media and in the promotion, advertising, sale, publication of BowDog.

I agree to all of the terms and conditions above and the waiver shall remain in effect on all future dates that my pet will require the services of BowDog Inc. All fields below are REQUIRED
